Browse and Get Google Web Fonts in Ubuntu Desktop Using TypeCatcher
TypeCatcher is a Apps that allows you to search, browse, download and automatically install the sources of Google Web Fonts into ubuntu desktop or ubuntu based distro with just a few mouse clicks. You can also preview fonts with adjustable size and text.

Its simple and easy to use as selecting a font and click on the download button. This will download and install on your ubuntu desktop, enabling the user to select the font in different applications.
Uninstalling a font is as simple as clicking the Uninstall button font, the uninstall action and removed from the ubuntu desktop.
When you click on a font, the font displays with predefined phrases with a predetermined size, the latter can be changed easily through the size box (available in the toolbar).
Installing TypeCatcher in Ubuntu Desktop (13.10/13.04/12.10/12.04)
By default TypeCatcher is available in the Ubuntu Software Repository of Ubuntu 13.10, Just search “TypeCatcher” in Ubuntu Software Center you will be able to find and install. or you can install it from terminal by using the following command:
sudo apt-get install typecatcher
You can install TypeCatcher in Ubuntu 13.04, Ubuntu 12.10, Ubuntu 12.04 by adding official TypeCatcher PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:andrewsomething/typecatcher sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install typecatcher
