Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal Alpha 3 Released

The upcoming Ubuntu 12.10 with codename Quantal Quetzal has just released Alpha 3 by ubuntu developer and available for download. This Alpha release is not recommended to be installed on production systems. A production machine is a machine that you use to do work on and can’t afford to have it corrupted by unstable programs.

Ubuntu Quantal Quetzal final is scheduled for release on October 18th. The first beta is expected on September 6th.

Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 3 comes with Firefox 15 Beta,Kernel 3.5, Xorg 1.12, LibreOffice 3.6 RC1, Gnome Shell 3.5.4 (including revamped ‘Nautilus’ with UI changes, which still looks a bit ugly due to Ubuntu’s theme incompatibilities),Unity 6.0 and more.
