Install Guayadeque Music Player 0.3.5 on ubuntu 11.10 / 12.04
To install the Guayadeque 0.3.5 add ppa:anonbeat/guayadequ on your ubuntu system,open terminal and type the commands below:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:anonbeat/guayadeque sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install guayadeque
if you want to install Guayadeque from svn, use the command below:
The first step we need to do is install the development tools
sudo apt-get install subversion build-essential cmake gettext
Install the development dependencies
sudo apt-get install libwxgtk2.8-dev libtagc0-dev libsqlite3-dev libcurl4-gnutls-dev libdbus-1-dev libgstreamer0.10-dev libflac-dev libgpod-dev libindicate-dev
Grab the source code and start building the project.
cd svn co http://guayadeque.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/guayadeque/Trunk guayadeque cd guayadeque ./build sudo make install
How to use Guayadeque Music Player 0.3.5
To create a new collection, select Source -> New collection, then enter a new collection name on the left and add some folders:
The new Album collections will be displayed
